After graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Biology, Jess wanted to travel while learning about organic farming and permaculture. She wanted to explore and integrate regenerative practices because of the negative environmental impacts of industrial farming. She participated through WWOOF on the Big Island of Hawai’i, where she worked and lived close to the land. She worked at a few different farms over three years, growing a wide range of vegetables, tropical fruits, medicinal herbs and livestock. While back in NY, Jess has worked in the health field expanding her knowledge in supplements and vitamins. Jess is very excited to start working with MEVO and the community! In her free time, she likes to practice yoga, rock climb, hike, and paint.
